Common parts are intended to inform the public, the patients and the medical staff about the establishment life and news.
Octopus also offers a TV-display module..

Headboard services :

Headboard services bring together entertainment (TV, VOD, Radios…) and communication needs (Telephone, Internet access, chat, instant messaging and visio-conferencing). Moreover, the medical staff also has access to medical history stored on smart card.

Octopus meets these three needs: television and common parts modules can be read on IPTV STB while headboard part modules can be read on thin clients or touch screens.

Octopus gathers all establishment multi-media applications on a single server, on which any needed IP terminal can be connected.

 

You can also add video surveillance cameras.
